My spouse and I didn't notice much difference between the ribbed and the regular, although they have the same comfort and quality you'd expect from Trojan. I don't know if I'd purchase these again. To others, I'd say go ahead and try -- there's not enough difference from regular condoms to be a worse experience and it could possibly be better for you.

You are better off using your money for disposable test sticks. Why? Because:
1. Getting up in the middle of the night (or early morning) to pee throws off the monitor's result, leading to the wrong "peak" days. 2. Missing the first test day (cycle day 6 or so) throws off the monitor's result, leading to the wrong "peak" days. (Note: I confirmed with my doctor and other tests that this monitor gave the wrong result, missing ovulation by four days). 3. There is no ability to scroll back and forth to review previous month's data. 4. The setting of the time window for testing is very unintuitive and inconveniently restrictive. 5. Per the company's spokeperson, the monitor only picks up one "peak" day and automatically labels the following day also as "peak" regardless of what is actually detected in the urine. This is problematic because the monitor can get the first peak day wrong for the reasons above and, because of this feature, does not allow you to continue to monitor to ... The last time I cleaned our carpets I rented a Rug-Doctor thinking "how hard could it be"? Boy was I wrong, pulling it about killed my back, my carpets didn't get that clean, and I was out $58 to boot! So this past month when it was time to clean the carpets I dreaded renting a machine again so I figured I would buy one instead.
I searched high and low for the best deal and Amazon had it, I got free shipping plus I got another $25 off the total because they were having a special. When the machine arrived I put it together with no trouble. Of course I had seen the other reviews about water spilling out so I made sure to read the directions throughly. Sure enough, it clearly states that before you go to empty the bottom tank, which is the dirty water tank, be sure to remove the top tank, which is the clean water tank, first before tilting the machine back to release the bottom tank!! I did exactly as it said and never had one single droplet of water leak out the whole time I used it. Needl... It's around US$159.99 in Amazon.com |
Factory-Reconditioned Dyson DC 07 Full Kit Upright Vacuum, Purple/Blue

Factory-Reconditioned Dyson DC 07 Full Kit Upright Vacuum, Purple/Blue from Dyson, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$383.99. (*The prices are subject to change)
First the vac came two days earlier then Amazon quoted, the vac itself was in perfect condition, matter of fact if the box didn't say fact-reconditioned I would have thought it was brand new. It came with all the accessories and they also were in brand new condition. I did the vac comparison with my Oreck XL and the Dyson won hands down, I could not believe the dirt and dog hair the Dyson picked up. Also the Dyson Full Kit is last years model, it is replaced this year with the Full Gear model, it is the same vac, but the color is different. It is a great deal for $229, thats half the price of the full gear model at Best Buy. I would highly recommend this product

Sony NH-AA-2DB Ni-MH AA 2500mAh Battery for DSCP41/P73/P93/W1/ W5/W7/H1/S40/S60/S90 Digital Cameras from Sony, Usually ships in 24 hours. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $8.99.
Regular alkaline Duracells are the best. So I expected the same out of their rechargeables. But the Durcell 2050mAh's had a noticeably shorter life span than the Sony 2100mAh rechargeables. After around 100 pictures, the Duracells were down to a quarter charge left (using a Sony W5 digital camera). But the Sony still had 3 quarter. The Duracells will now be relegated to powering my cheapo Colgate spin toothbrush. I won't trust them to taking photos.
Oh yes, I remembered another. I was overseas. Went with one pair of Duracells for 5 days or so. Had another pair of Duracells and a pair of Sonys that came with my camera in the bag as backup. When I needed the backup, the Duracells were pretty much drained after 5 days of non-usage, while the Sony's were 3/4 charged. So, I haven't used these Sony 2500mAh I'm purchasing, but would expect even better performance than the 2100mAh's. Will update when I get them and use them. It's around US$8.99 in Amazon.com |

After many years of good service, I needed to replace my old Smart-Vac. It is heavy, but does a great job with cat hair and runs more quietly than most. Like most everything about it, especially a great price!

The Eureka 4870DT is the second household purchase I've made from Amazon this month covered with marks indicating previous use and delivered in a box that wasn't factory sealed. I might choose to buy a refurbished item for a discounted price, but I prefer to see it advertised that way. (I regret that I'm simply too lazy to pack this large item back in the box and ship it -- even though the brush roll control switch is broken, which would certainly be reason enough for a return.) Amazon wins this one, but I've learned my lesson and will make these kinds of purchases at a brick-n-mortar store in the future.
The suction appears excellent for floors, but the suction from the attachment hose becomes negligible if you attach the extender. It's around US$139.99 in Amazon.com |
Hoover F6215-900 SteamVac Agility Carpet Cleaner

Hoover F6215-900 SteamVac Agility Carpet Cleaner from Hoover, Usually ships in 24 hours. The list price is around US$239.99. (*The prices are subject to change) Street price is around $199.99.
I purchased this item about a month ago to clean our 20 year old medium brown carpet. It really is very sturdy and easy to set up. Just vacuum first, mix up the cleaner with water (I put in a small teapot full of boiling water along with the tap water), and clean away. Water in the recovery tank is dark gray/black every time and easy to empty. Wipe the bottom areas of the cleaner with paper towel when you're done (remove and rinse the brushes if you have time) and put away.
I've done sections of the house little by little because it is so easy to get out and clean a section even if you only have an hour to work with. I'm only 5'1'' tall and find it easy enough to push around. It is noisy so I use earplugs to save my hearing. The best thing is that we're saving a ton of money over hiring a company to do it for you. Buy the Hoover detergent from Amazon too! Great price and it arrived in 1-2 days. Black & Decker CHV1500 15-3/5-Volt HEPA Cyclonic DustBuster

This hand held has about the same suction power as a full size vacuum. We own a dog and I'm able to use this vacuum to clean up dog hairs from virtually any surface, even embedded hairs on carpet and fabric sofas. I even bring this vacuum in the car when me and the dog go on rides for clean up. The crevice on board attachment is great for doing stairs and along the walls. It's definitely the most powerful hand held on the market today. I hesitate to give it a full 5 stars due to poor battery life. Otherwise, it sucks!
